Andy has been back in the studio on remix duties. First of was for Mat Zo & Porter Robinson and their track Easy and it was Andy’s remixed that got featured as Zane Lowe’s “Hottest Record” on his radio 1 show. The next remix is for Rudimental and their track Right Here. This remix was also picked as Zane’s “Hottest Record” with an interview on the show.

New Zealand and Australian tour round up

January 2013 saw Andy C on his annual Australasian tour performing to sold-out crowds across the continent. After an amazing 2012 and an unforgettable New Years Eve in New Zealand, Andy returned in mid January for his 7 show tour. Taking in cities Auckland, Christchurch, Wellington, Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney and the mighty Perth. National Drum & Bass Awards

Saturday February 23rd saw Andy C awarded once again for being the Number Drum & Bass DJ at the National Drum & Bass Awards. Not only this but he also got the award for Best Live Show for his Alive show. This is truly humbling and Andy can not thank everyone enough for taking time out to vote, it really does mean a lot. After 2 amazing festival shows over New Years Eve in New Zealand, Andy returns to New Zealand with shows in Christchurch, Auckland and Wellington before he heads over to Australia for shows in Adelaide, the now legendary Australia Day show at Metro City in Perth, Melbourne and Sydney. Andy C wins best DJ Award and reflects on 2012

Andy C was voted best DJ award at the Drum & Bass Arena Awards that ware held on December 5th. A huge thanks to everyone that took time out to vote, it’s very well appreciated.

2012 was an amazing year for Andy and here are a few of the highlights….. Taking the Alive tour to the USA and across Europe and performing it at fantastic festivals like EDC Las Vegas, Pukkelpop, Global Gather, SW4 to name but a few. Andy got to guest edit and gracing the cover of Mixmag speaking about Alive, he’s career to date and the entire 20 years of Ram. 2012 also saw Andy back in the studio and producing remixes for the likes of Plan B, DJ Fresh, Eric Prydz and Major Lazer for their track Get Free. Andy’s remix of Get Free become the lead track for the package and ended up on the B list at Radio 1. 2012 also say the very first 6 hour set by Andy at Fabric. This turned out to be one for the history books with the set ending up nearing 7 hours in length, a truly magical night for all involved. The year was rounded off in style with a huge Ram 20 celebration at Fabric with every artist that has ever been on the label performing over 12 hours, another marathon session. All in all 2012 was a year to remember for so many reasons and a massive thank you to everyone for making it such a great year.

Andy C 6 hour set at Fabric

Andy C wille performing a 6 hour set for the very first time at Fabric on October 12 as part of the Ram Records night. Early bird tickets sold out in 15 minutes, general allocation sold out in just a few days and the bonus allocation sold out again in under an hour. There will be a limited amount of tickets available on the door but early arrival is advised. Support in room 1 for this landmark event will be by Mind Vortex and Commix and hosted by IC3, MC Fats, SP and 2Shy. Room 2 will host the launch party of Calyx Teebee’s forthcoming album All Or Nothing, with them doing a special 6 deck set alongside label mates Loadstar, Wilkinson, Delta Heavy, Culture Shock and special guests Hostage and Gorgon City.
