ANDY C LAUNCHES GROUNDBREAKING NEW SHOW: ‘ALIVE’

Drum & bass, dubstep, drumstep – no matter the sub-genre, right now, bass culture is the sound of the UK. At its centre is Andy C, one of the scene’s founders and most important figures. A legend in his own right, who began his label RAM at 16 years old and has pioneered drum & bass for two decades, Andy has also nurtured the careers of artists Chase & Status, Sub Focus and more.

This autumn, Andy will unveil his groundbreaking new state of the art show, ALIVE. Launching with a 9 date tour of the UK (full schedule below), the multi-media audio visual experience will feature bespoke technology, including new interactive and audio and visual elements created especially for ALIVE, which will be conducted by Andy within a large, unique stage structure, with a set that will be built and rebuilt for each venue.

The ALIVE concept is about taking DJ shows to a new dimension, capturing the energy of Andy C’s DJ set and translating that to an audio visual experience that fills the room and invites audience interaction. As ever, at the heart of the set up, Andy will be using 3 turntables, but with added cutting edge technology to produce a spectacular visual event and software to remix tracks ‘on the fly’.
